Therapedic Joins the "Optimalkan ReCharge Energi" Workshop
Jakarta, 7 October 2026. Therapedic joined the Wellness Workshop "Optimalkan ReCharge Energi" at WTC 2 as an exclusive partner. The workshop was held by Permata Bank together with Sleep Spa Technology, in collaboration with NapLab and GorryWell. Attended by 1,051 participants, the event featured sleep physician dr. Andreas Prasadja, RPSGT, with one key message: quality sleep builds positive energy and productive results.
Why Talk About Sleep at Work?
The workshop invited employees to see sleep as part of getting ready for work. How we sleep tonight shapes how focused we are at the office tomorrow. The session was moderated by Permata Bank Brand Ambassador Yoga Pranata Barus.
dr. Andreas gave an in-depth talk on the direct link between sleep quality, energy, and work productivity, backed by a live demonstration on a mattress. The session continued with an interactive discussion with participants, then moved to the Sleep Experience Zone. There, participants could feel the comfort of the mattresses firsthand, find the right pillow, and consult a Sleep Consultant directly.
Therapedic's message is simple: energy for work is built the night before. People who sleep well wake up with a body that is ready, and the first task of the morning feels lighter. That is Wake Up Ready in practice.
This workshop is a starting point for better sleep habits. But if the complaints continue, such as still feeling tired after a long sleep, it is better to consult a doctor who treats sleep problems.
What Was dr. Andreas Prasadja's Message?
A sleep health practitioner with more than two decades of experience, dr. Andreas Prasadja, RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist), is widely known as a pioneer of sleep medicine and somnology in Indonesia.
He opened with one statement: sleep health is the foundation of human quality. Adults, he said, actually need 7 to 9 hours of sleep. The challenge is that many Indonesians wake up sleepy and unrefreshed, then struggle to concentrate at work.
dr. Andreas also highlighted the difference between two conditions that are often confused: insomnia (difficulty sleeping) and hypersomnia (excessive sleepiness). Interestingly, hypersomnia often shows up differently in men and women. In men, the sleepiness is usually obvious, through microsleep or dozing off. In women, by contrast, it is often invisible. It can show up as a drop in concentration at certain hours that ends in headaches, so it is often not recognized as a sleep problem. Stressing how central sleep is, he concluded plainly: "For me, whatever the question, myanswer is: sleep." (translated from Indonesian)
How Is dr. Andreas Connected to Therapedic?
This collaboration continues a strategic partnership that was already well established. Earlier, on 1 August 2026, NapLab at Setiabudi One, Jakarta, officially opened as Indonesia's first professional nap space, with Therapedic Indonesia as its official mattress partner and a dedicated mattress line developed directly with dr. Andreas.
At the NapLab opening, Massindo Group President Director Jeffri Massie said the collaboration was meant for busy professionals who need energy to sustain their creativity and productivity. The workshop at WTC 2 carried the same mission straight into the office.
Which Mattresses Did Participants Try?
Participants tried three Therapedic mattresses: Dr. Sleep, Arctic Cool, and Remedy M on a Sleep Spa S9000 adjustable bed. Remedy M was also on stage, where dr. Andreas sat from time to time, remote in hand, as he spoke.
For Therapedic, sleep quality shows in how a person wakes up: a body ready to move, not a body that feels stiff and sore. That is what Wake Up Ready means, and that is where mattress support plays its part. A mattress with insufficient support lets the hips sink deeper than the shoulders, so the spine stays out of alignment for hours. A mattress with the right support holds up the heavier parts of the body, keeping posture aligned through the night.
That quality of support has a foundation. Therapedic International has been making mattresses in the United States since 1957 and is now trusted in more than 50 countries. In Indonesia, the brand is officially manufactured and distributed by Massindo Group. Today Therapedic is available in 24 cities.
Participants who want to experience it further can try the Therapedic and dr. Andreas collaboration mattress line in person, and order it, at NapLab in Setiabudi One.
